The neighbourhood also offers post offices, banks, shops, delicatessens, chemists, bars and restaurants.  There are both bus stops and a taxi rank located in front of the hotel and the Metro is just on the other side of Piazza San Pietro. Directions

Both of Rome’s airports are roughly 25 to 30 kilometres away, and a new fixed fare policy set by the city council means that a taxi to Ciampino costs € 30 and to Fiumicino(Leonardo Da Vinci) € 40, and should take around thirty to forty minutes.

If you choose not to opt for a taxi you can take a train link from Fiumicino Airport or a Schiaffini Coach from Ciampino Airport to Termini Central Train Station. Check our useful links page for transport authority websites.

From Termini, take Metro line A to Ottaviano San Pietro. Coming out of the metro station, walk down Via Ottaviano to Piazza San Pietro – you can’t miss it – it’s the size of a football stadium and it has the magnificent St. Peter’s Basilica overlooking it! Continue to the other side of the piazza and go straight on, across the main road Via di Porta Cavalleggeri and onto Via delle Fornaci. The Rome Hotel Emmaus is at number 25.
